Seminar on Illicit Trafficking of Small Arms in South-East Asia
Enlarge image (© Deutsche Botschaft) Enlarge image (© Deutsche Botschaft) On 19 and 20 December 2017, the United Nations Regional Center for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific, together with the Government of Cambodia, organized a regional seminar on small arms trafficking in South-East Asia in Phnom Penh. This seminar was financially supported by the Federal Republic of Germany. Ambassador Dr. Ingo Karsten presented in an opening speech the German policy against the proliferation of small arms. The seminar focused on the exchange of information and the expansion of cooperation between the countries of South-East Asia.
